Heading North out of Pemberton towards Lillooet you begin to notice a few changes in the topography: less glaciation and broad, towering peaks. This the higher, drier side of the Coast Range.  From Pemberton to Bella Coola the Cadwalldar, Chilcotin, Niut, Pantheon and Rainbow ranges stretch over 1000km to form a nearly unbroken High Route which may very well stand unparralled by any other backpacking route in the world.

The dream is to connect the Pacific Crest Trail to Bella Coola, BC. To this day I have covered a percent or two of the proposed route. As summer melts into summer, eventually we will walk the ridges from Pemberton to Bella Coola.
